There are three very important developments to be aware of . . .

Meeting with the Lieutenant Governor: As you know, we have established a strong partnership with the Office of Educational Innovation and Technolgy at M.I.T. On February 2 we held a joint meeting to present our partnership to Lieutenant Governor Tim Murray who chairs the Governor's STEM Task Force. Our presentation focuses on our interest in assisting the State to regain its leadership in science and math. We had a very productive discussion with the Lieutenant Governor. Now we will wait and see what the outcome will be.

Free workshop for science and math teachers: Professor Richard Larson will host an exciting workshop at MIT for high school science and math teachers. Dick is a graduate of Needham High School and a lifer at MIT, having received his degrees there and being on the staff. Topics include Donkey Cart Physics, Fabulous Fractals, The Secrets of Soap Bubbles, and many more. Workshop hours are from 9:00 - 1:00 on Saturday, March 6. You can get registration information on our Professional development Center at http://imoodle.imgsoftware.com/img/.

Moodle Share Fair: The next Share Fair will be hosted by MIT and will feature multimedia resources available to teachers. Save the date - Thursday, March 25, from 4:00 - 700 PM. This will be our largest Share fair yet. This Share fair will be available to members of our consortium even if they are not yet using Moodle. More information soon, but please save the date.
