Integrating Moodle into Your Teaching
Summer session June 7 - July 30
Fall semester September 13 - December 21
This is The Learning Curve's signature course designed to help teachers develop their own Moodle course sites. Its focus is on the online pedagogies that teachers can apply in order to answer the essential question, "What can we achieve online that we cannot achieve as well or as fully in a more traditional classroom environment?" To respond to that question, participating teachers study, discuss and apply proven online pedagogies designed to improve individualized instruction, to provide intensive collaborative learning experiences, to provide additional opportunities for teachers to mentor their students, and to provide better opportunities for school-home communication. This course includes a customized Moodle site for each participant's school for one year plus ongoing support for the entire year. The teaching team includes Romeo Marquis, Deborah Donohue, Ann Morgan and Linda Post. This course is completely online but can be supported by onsite workshops as needed.
