We are especially pleased to be working with excellent partners. Read on . . .

The Office of Educational Innovation and Technology at MIT is a strong partner because of its mission in elementary and secondary education. OEIT focuses on OpenCourseWare available to teachers as they develop course sites in Moodle. While providing OpenCourseWare is an important step in and of itself, we work closely with professionals at OEIT to bridge the gap between availability and actual integration of OpenCourseWare. OEIT professionals played a very important role at our original Moodle Share Fair and will continue to work with us at subsequent Share Fairs.

logoTeachers' Domain is a library of free digital media resources from Boston public television station WGBH and partner organizations designed for classroom use and professional development. Teachers' Domain resources support state and national standards, and draw from popular PBS shows such as NOVA, Frontline, American Experience, Nature and Cyberchase. The collection covers K-12 science, math, English language arts, performing arts, and social sciences, and includes video and audio segments. Flash interactives, images, documents, lesson plans for teachers, and student activities.

The College's Division of Graduate and Continuing Education works closely with us in two important areas. Its Online Professional Development Center enables us to offer professional development courses for educators. An example of this collaboration is the regular availability of Integrating Moodle into Your Teaching. This course is offered each term and is an essential component of the package we provide to schools when they become members of our consortium. The Center also enables us to offer a selection of titles that will soon be available to educators. The Division of Graduate and Continuing Education also offers an excellent online degree - M.Ed. with Concentration in Curriculum and Instructional Technology. This degree program is designed specifically for teachers who want to strengthen their teaching with technology in the 21st Century. Email Dr. Claire Graham for more information.
